Vin Soeltaansingh

Vin Soeltaansingh is an experienced attorney, specializing in corporate litigation and commercial dispute resolution across the Dutch Caribbean and Suriname. He has a proven track record advising and representing clients in complex, high-stakes legal disputes, including multinational corporations, financial institutions and other sophisticated commercial clients.

Vin regularly appears before courts of first instance, appellate courts, and specialist tribunals such as the Enterprise Chamber. His expertise also spans financial regulation and proceedings for financial service providers including institutional banks, supporting clients in both cross-border advisory and litigation contexts.


Recent work highlights include:

  • Representing a client in a USD 100+ million cross-border liability dispute, conducted both in ICC arbitration and before the courts of Curaçao.
  • Coordinating all litigation projects in Suriname for a Fortune 500 company.
  • Assisting the largest financial institution in the Dutch Caribbean on multiple proceedings.
  • Assisting global investment leader BlackRock Inc. in successfully obtaining a license to offer investment funds in Curaçao.


Related activities

In addition to his practice at VANEPS, Vin has shared his legal expertise as a part-time lecturer in corporate governance, private law, and international private law at the University of Curaçao.

Vin earned his LL.M. in Corporate Law from the University of Amsterdam and completed the prestigious post-academic Corporate Litigation specialization program at the Grotius Institute, achieving highest distinction (cum laude) in both.
