Manon Vermeulen

Manon specializes in employment law and works at our firm in Curaçao. She is also admitted to practice in the Netherlands and joined our employment law team at the Curaçao office in September 2025.

Manon previously worked at Höcker Advocaten in Amsterdam where she advised large and small employers on all aspects of employment law, but also regularly represented employees and statutory directors. During her Master’s in Employment Law at the University of Amsterdam, she worked for a company that, among other things, developed legal tech solutions to make the law more accessible. Valuable experience that she will apply in practice at VANEPS wherever possible.

She is member of an association for young employment law lawyers in the Netherlands. Manon was also involved in the Amsterdam Young Bar Association as a board member of Stichting Justitia. During that period she organized the annual event Justitia for approximately 500–800 lawyers and was responsible for the mout court competition. 

Manon has published in the well-known journal ArbeidsRecht, which provides analyses and commentary on current developments in employment legislation and case law in the Netherlands.

Dutch Bar Registry

Manon is registered in the principal legal practice area of employment law in the Dutch Bar Register of legal practice areas (‘rechtsgebiedenregister’) and obtains the required training credits per calendar year in accordance with the standards set by the Dutch Bar Association.
